The WPCA Board of Directors includes the City of Stamford Director of Administration, the City of Stamford Director of Operations, Chairman of the City of Stamford Board of Finance (or his/her designee from the Board of Finance) and the President of the City of Stamford Board of Representatives (or his/her designee from the Board of Representatives) and five at-large members appointed by the mayor and approved by the Board of Representatives. At least one of the at-large members must be an accountant or financial manager and at least one must be an engineer. City officials who become members of the WPCA Board of Directors shall retain this responsibility throughout their tenures in their non-WPCA positions as City officials. At-large members shall be appointed for three (3) years.
